BYPASS:
The company was awarded the project
in the year 2000 for construction
of the Mumbra Bypass of the Mumbai-Pune
Road at NH4 with a length of 5.41
km.
The project required competency in
constructing across difficult terrain
and the scope of the project was further
increased in 2005 requiring the addition
of a grade separator along with the
construction of a Railway Over Bridge.
This toll-based project enjoys a concession
period of about 16 years.

• Location: Mumbai-Pune Road
at NH4 from km 133/800 to km 138/200;
the
stretch is the link between
NH3/ NH8 and JNPT
• Primarily project influence
areas are the States of Maharashtra
and Gujarat.
Secondary service areas are
southern states - Goa, Karnataka,
TN, AP and
Northern states – Delhi
& MP.

management, operations, maintenance

NAGPUR-KONDHALI
PROJECT:
This toll-based project was awarded
to Atlanta - SREI consortium in September
2006 and the scope of the work include
the improvement, operation and maintenance
including the strengthening and widening
of the existing 2-lane road to 4-lane
dual carriageway on the NH-6 (Nagpur-Kondhali
section) - a stretch just outside
Nagpur city in Maharashtra. A sizeable
amount of inter-state and intra-state
traffic passes through this route
and there is no convenient alternative
route to this stretch.
The company has formed a Special
Purpose Vehicle (Balaji Tollways Ltd)
for this purpose. Atlanta holds 74
per cent stake in it. The concession
period extends to approximately 20
years including 2.5 years of construction.
Project details
• 4 laning of 40.8 kms of Nagpur-Kondhali
section of NH – 3.
• Also part of NH – 6
which connects Kolkatta and Mumbai/Surat
through West
Bengal, Jharkhand, Orissa,
Chattisgarh & Maharashtra.
• NH – 6 intersects NH
– 3 at Dhule which connects
Mumbai and Agra through
Nasik, Indore, Dhule and Gwalior.

• 74% stakeholder in the SPV.

SEZ
CONSTRUCTION AT BAVLA, DISTRICT AHMEDABAD:
Atlanta has entered into a MoU with
NG Realty Pvt. Ltd. for setting up
an Engineering SEZ at Bavla, 26 kms.
away from Ahmedabad. This SEZ will
reap the benefits of being located
in close proximity to Gujarat’s
industrial and commercial capital
– Ahmedabad. This strategic
location is well-connected by road,
rail and air. The trade potential
of the place will also significantly
improve due to the proposed construction
of a seaport at Dholera, near Bavla.
Gujarat which is home to some of the
leading education institutes and majority
of which are placed in Ahmedabad is
leading to easy access to trained
talent pool.
Project Details
• SEZ setup at Bavla recognized as
Gallops Atlanta SEZ will be spread
over an
area of 230 hectares, out of
which 75% will be earmarked for the
processing
area for SSI/MSI and LSI engineering
units, while the remaining will be
utilised for non-processing
zone.
• Atlanta NG Realty Pvt. Ltd. will
provide basic infrastructure facilities
such as
roads, drains, water
supply, sewerage disposal, power distribution
facilities,
compound walls etc.
• Construction of residential buildings,
commercial centers,hotels restaurants,
entertainment facilities
etc.
Atlanta’s role
• Acquired a 50% stake in Atlanta
NG Realty Pvt. Ltd. an SPV formed
for
developing Gallops Atlanta
SEZ.
• Construction, owning and maintaining
facilities.
